Michigan continued to pour it on in the 2nd half against the hapless Gophers ... outscoring the Gophs 33-0.

Second Half

Minnesota Possession #1

MINN took the kickoff to the U-M 35.

MINN went 3 and out.

Michigan Possession #1

U-M took the punt at the U-M 26 and went 3 and out.

Minnesota Possession #2

MINN took the punt at the MINN 16 and went 3 and out.

Michigan Possession #2

Jeremy Gallon took the punt at the U-M 46.

Michael Shaw made 2 runs to the MINN 35.

Denard hit Koger down the sideline to the U-M 17, and a roughing the passer call took it down to the MINN 9.

On 1st down Shaw ran it to the 1, then on the next play Fitzgerald Toussaint took it in at the 8:18 mark.

Michigan 45, Minnesota 0

Minnesota Possession #3

MINN took the kickoff to the U-M 34.

On 2nd down MINN hit a pass to the U-M 45.

There the drive stalled.

Michigan Possession #3

Jeremy Gallon took the punt at the U-M 36.

Devin in at QB ... on 3rd down he hit Junior Hemingway for 14 to the MINN 36.

On 2nd down Toussaint ran 16 to the MINN 20.

The drive stalled at the MINN 15, and Brendan Gibbons kicked a 32 yard field goal at the 2:04 mark.

Michigan 48, Minnesota 0

MINN too the kickoff to the house, but a penalty took it back to the MINN 25.

On 2nd down MINN hit a 32 pass to the U-M 45.

The drive stalled at the U-M 43.

Michigan Possession #4

The punt was taken for a touchback.

On 1st down Devin ran it 11 to the U-M 31.

On the next play Thomas Rawls ran it 25 to the MINN 44.

Two plays later Devin hit Jeremy Gallon to the U-M 26.

Two running plays later Rawls ran to the MINN 14.

There the drive stalled, and Gibbons kicked a 31 yard field goal at the 9:17 mark.

On 2nd down MINN hit a pass to the U-M 45.

MINN too the punt at the U-M 48.

On the first play MINN ran it to the U-M 20.

On the next play Courtney Avery picked up a fumble at the U-M 18 and took it to the house!

MINN too the kickoff to the 50 but a penalty took it back to the MINN 21. MINN went 3 and out.

The punt was taken at the U-M 35.

On 1st down Devin ran 18 to the MINN 47.

Two plays later Rawls ran 24 to the MINN 15.

Game over.

FINAL STATS
U-M gained 549 yards, 217 passing and 332 rushing.
Denard ran 6 times for 51 yards (8.5 ypc) and a TD, and was 15-19 passing for 169 yards and 2 TDs.
Fitz Toussaint ran it 11 times for 108 yards (9.8 ypc) and a TD.

Vincent Smith ran for a TD, caught a pass for 1, and passed for one as well.
MINN gained 176 yards, 104 passing and 72 rushing.
