Michigan Adds #17!

Michigan continues its recruiting momentum with a commitment from sleeper safety prospect, Jeremy Clark. The Kentucky standout will be a part of Michigan's 2013 class.

Madisonville (Ky.) North Hopkins safety Jeremy Clark just texted Scout.com Midwest Regional Manager Allen Trieu that his recruitment has come to an end

"I committed to Michigan," said Clark.

Clark emerged as a prime target during Michigan's summer camp earlier this week, as was noted in GoBlueWolverine's Tuesday afternoon camp notes.

This 6-4, 175-lb. safety was one of the surprises of the day.  He flashed good speed and EXCELLENT ball skills.  He is a bit of a sleeper on the national scene because he has grown four inches since last fall.  Just as impressive was the fact that he soaked up the coaching like a sponge and just seemed to really be relishing the overall experience.  After his showing today, the Wolverines are definitely wide awake to his talents.   Cincinnati just offered him and don't be surprised if a number of others, including Michigan, turn up the heat.  This is definitely one to watch (especially as Jarrod Wilson's recruitment is prolonged).

Said Clark after his camp experience in Ann Arbor, "I thought they were nicest I've seen so far... the nicest facilities, the coaches were good, and everything about Michigan was good."

NC State, Akron, Central Michigan, Ball State, Ohio and Toledo were also on Clark's rapidly growing offer list.

The Wolverines extended Clark a greyshirt offer, so baring any changes to that offer he will actually count toward the 2013 recruiting class.
