The 6'7, 220-pound forward out of Cincinnati Withrow High School does it all inside the paint. With the physique of a college player as a sophomore in high school, the big man has an attitude crashing the boards. A physical presence inside that knows how to finish and demands the basketball in the post. With above average athleticism and intensity on the floor, the class of 2013 forward from the State of Ohio will be a very high priority by the time he graduates.
Q: What Schools are talking to you right now?
A: I'm talking to Ohio State, Xavier, West Virginia, and Cincinnati. There's a lot more but those are the four major ones I'm talking to at this moment.
Q: Being from the State of Ohio is being close to home going to be an important factor when you eventually make your decision?
A: Not really, not really. I really want to get away but it doesn't matter to me, I just want to play.
Q: How would you describe your game?
A: Just work hard, give good effort and leave it all on the floor
Q: Have you heard anything from Michigan?
A: No sir. I'd like to. I'd like to hear from Michigan and Michigan State.
Cincinnati (OH) Withrow PF Devin Williams has been one of the most impressive performers at the Motor City Roundball Classic this week. The class of 2013 standout looked like a man amongst boys at times, and is already commanding significant interest from high majors across the Midwest. He has yet to hear from two from the Great Lake State, however, and he hopes that changes soon.
